Is 2018 Just Another Rerun For You?

If you are like most people, 2018 is basically a rerun of 2017, which is a rerun of 2016, which is a rerun of 2015.

Do you ever wonder why that is?

Do you want to know why some people are breaking through and creating successful businesses and you are still struggling with the same old problems?

The reason is your mindset.

What we experience in life is a reflection of the frameworks and beliefs that we view life through. Frameworks are like the frames of your glasses, and beliefs are like the lenses.

In order to change your life, to breakthrough to the next level of success, you must change your glasses!

Many people have a framework based on survival. They live their lives in the

context of competition and scarcity.

They pit themselves against the experience of lack.

They regard other people as competitors who are all out to take away their chance for the prize.

If each year is pretty much like that past one:

get up in the morning,

drag yourself to work,

struggle through the day,

inch your way home through traffic,

eat and drink and watch television until you fall asleep on the couch,

crawl into bed at some point,

and sleep until the alarm wakes you to do it all again…

then you can be sure it is time for you to change your mind.

The good news is that you CAN change your mind.

But this is challenging until you learn how it is done.

This survival framework guarantees that you will experience a stress-filled life.

Worries and anxiety will dominate your days and nights.

High levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, will keep your nervous system on alert, and the energy you need to thrive will be spent on merely surviving.

Most of this survival framework was put in place by you during the ages of 0–7 years.

Can you believe it?

What did you know about life and how the world works when you were such a little child?

Of course, you knew next to nothing,

and your brain was very busy, every day,

figuring out how to survive,

because that was your brain’s job:

to make sure you lived long enough to grow up and reproduce.

Reproduction is the physical imperative of the biological being you are.

But now you are grown,

and unless you have taken conscious and deliberate steps to transform your mindset,

you are still reacting to life

and being triggered to act in ways that were embedded in your being while you were a child.

It is your responsibility to transform your current mindset

to a set of consciously chosen beliefs

based on deliberate strategies designed by you to get you where you want to go.

Do you have dreams and visions?

Do you know your life purpose?

Are you doing what you came into this world to do?

Are you making that unique contribution to life that only you can make?

I hope so.

Because the world needs you.

You are not here by accident.

You came here with something to offer.

It is up to you to create the strategic mindset

to carry you from where you are to where you want to go,

and along the way make your contribution to life.

Your income is a major indicator of how closely you are aligned

With your true potential,

And how much of the value of contribution

Is available in the marketplace.

Is 2018 going to be a repeat of 2017, and 2016, and 2015?

Or are you going to create a strategic mindset to take you from where you are to where you want to be?

What You Absolutely Need to Know About Being Rejected

Rejection can be a weapon of mass destruction to your business. Photo by Micah Williams on Unsplash

Fear of Rejection Is A Weapon of Mass Destruction

Do you struggle with fear of rejection?

Do you spend time and energy

trying to please people, or gain approval?

Is it difficult to market your service or product

due to doubt or confusion

about how to move forward?

This kind of procrastination is often fear of rejection

masquerading as doubt or confusion.

These are entrepreneurial mindset issues.

They must be consciously addressed

by any entrepreneur who is struggling,

or any successful entrepreneur

who is looking to take their business to the next level.

And it is more than that.

The experience of rejection impacts all humans at one time or another in the course of living life.

How you deal with rejection is a critical factor in whether or not you are able to enjoy your life and experience it as a satisfying adventure,

or struggle with negative emotions and limiting beliefs.

“Lots of times, our main problem isn’t our problem. Our biggest problem is our perspective on our problem.” — Steven Furtick

What does it take to deal effectively with fear of rejection?

The key insight that will set you free

is that your experience of rejection

ALWAYS comes from within.

I know that is not easy to accept.

People treat us all kinds of ways.

Some people really like you.

Other people can’t stand you.

This is a fact.

But your experience of rejection ALWAYS and ONLY comes from your own thoughts.

So let’s be clear.

If you are a comedian

standing on a stage

telling jokes

and someone in the crowd

throws a rotten tomato at you,

you will only feel rejected

if you make the tomato’s impact on you mean,

“The tomato thrower must not like me,”

or

“The tomato thrower hates my jokes,”

or some similar thought.

If you choose to think,

“Wow, the tomato thrower is really listening to me!”

or

“The tomato thrower is kind enough to give me some tough love

about my material. I appreciate that so much!”

then you won’t feel rejection.

You will feel appreciation.

See what I mean?

You can choose to make empowered meaning out of every single one of your experiences.

So even if someone throws a rotten tomato at you,

you do not have to feel rejected.

Does it make sense now,

with this insight,

that you never have to experience rejection again?

And if you do experience it,

can you see how you can change your mind immediately,

and see the situation from a different perspective?

Can you see that when you own this power, fear of rejection will disappear from your experience sooner or later?

It will.

You can work on it by setting an intention

to notice when you are feeling rejected,

or lonely,

or rebuffed,

or inadequate.

These feelings are a clue that you are thinking something that is disempowering you.

Once you make this connection between your unwanted feelings

and your thoughts, you can make a new choice!

Otherwise,

if you are going to let your thoughts run wild

and send you into negative feelings

without any consequences

Your own thoughts become

weapons of mass destruction in your life.

As you accumulate life experiences

and/or business experiences,

if you don’t know how to make empowered meaning out of

Every.

Single.

Thing.

That.

Happens.

then your chances of success dwindle

as more and more disempowerment shows up.

Plus, most of us soak up a lot of disempowered meaning

as young children

watching disempowered parents navigating the world.

This is why you need to use your feelings

to point you into the areas where you need to do the work.

One other very important point is that

what you focus on expands.

So if you are consciously or unconsciously

trying to avoid rejection,

you are telling your brain to look for it,

so you are finding more of it, not less.

When you use feelings of rejection

to change your mind

you automatically give your brain

new instructions.

“Brain: look for inclusion,

look for acceptance,

look for opportunities to collaborate.”

Then more of those experiences

filter into your awareness.

As I like to say:

Master your thoughts. Master your world. Think only LOVE.

And while you are at it,

set an impossible goal.

Working toward an impossible goal

highlights the barriers in your way

so that you can change your thoughts about them.

There’s Actually No Ultimate Freedom Without Forgiveness

Set YOURSELF Free Using the Fire of Forgiveness

Life is full of challenges which involve other people.

Have you noticed that?

Think about it.

If you were here on this planet

all by yourself

how many problems could you have?

Okay, loneliness.

(but notice that is also about people…)

If you were alone here on earth you would literally HAVE IT ALL!

Right?

All the gold,

all the jewels,

all the houses,

all the cars,

all the fortune…

Everything.

Would you be happy?

I doubt it.

We need and want the company of others,

but others are always involved when we have problems.

What to do?

There’s a key distinction you may not know.

That distinction is the source of complete freedom

no matter the circumstances.

As much as other people are part of the circumstances

that are upsetting you,

it is NOT other people that upset you.

It is not NOT the circumstances that upset you.

It is your thoughts about those people,

and your thoughts about those circumstances

that are the source of your negative (or positive) emotions.

And when you know this,

you discover that you have a choice

about what you think.

This is a TOTALLY awesome discovery.

So WAKE UP and MAKE SURE you GET this!

Your thoughts cause your feelings.

You can choose your thoughts.

What are the feelings that feel good?

You get to notice that for yourself,

but common answers are:

JOY.

PEACE.

EXCITEMENT.

ENTHUSIASM.

HAPPINESS.

What are the thoughts that will get you to those feelings?

“All is well.”

“All my needs are met.”

“I’m so grateful for ____ (you fill in the blank).”

“I appreciate ______ .”

“I’m so excited about ______.”

To think these thoughts that lead to good feelings you have to let go of the thoughts you have about people and circumstances that are upsetting you.

To let go of those thoughts, use the fire of forgiveness.

Burn away the ties to what happened in the past.

The purpose of forgiveness is not to condone or excuse

your own or other people’s bad behavior.

If you need to make amends to forgive yourself,

just do it.

The purpose of forgiveness is not to try to convince

yourself that unacceptable circumstances

are really acceptable.

Forgiving others is essential for spiritual growth. Your experience of someone who has hurt you, while painful, is now nothing more that a thought or feeling that you carry around. These thoughts of resentment, anger, and hatred represent slow, debilitating energies that will dis-empower you if you continue to let these thoughts occupy space in your head. If you could release them, you would know more peace. — Wayne Dyer

If something damaging happened to you or to

someone you care about, I understand that you don’t

have “positive” thoughts about that.

And you never will.

If you did something damaging to yourself or others

I understand that you don’t have positive thoughts about that,

and you never will.

But the question is, given what happened, given you can’t change what happened, are you willing to allow that event to define your future?

Are you willing to remain imprisoned by your past?

Are you willing to deny yourself feelings of joy,

excitement, happiness because of those circumstances?

The purpose of forgiveness is to set yourself free

to think the thoughts that will allow you enjoy

every minute of your own life.

I know.

This is a big challenge.

I have had my own unacceptable circumstances

to let go of.

I have had to make amends.

It isn’t easy.

What is your freedom worth to you?

When you know what the options are

given the unchangeable circumstances,

the choice is clear.

Forgive (which, remember, means let go, not condone) and be free, or hold on, and live inside the nightmare.

No one can choose for you.

The choice is yours.

Choose wisely.

Know what you want feel,

and then think the thoughts you need to think

to feel that.

Set yourself free.

Make freedom your number one goal!

How to Stay Motivated On Monday Mornings

Are you feeling the Monday morning blues?

Do you lack motivation move forward toward your goals?

Read on to shift that vibration…

The feelings you have about Sunday nights

and Monday morning are the result of thoughts you have.

As much as it may seem that the circumstances

which are so unsatisfying

are what is causing you unhappiness,

the empowering truth is

your feelings are result of your thoughts.

Not your circumstances.

Why is this empowering?

Because you can change your thoughts in any moment.

As much as circumstances can dictate what you encounter

What you experience will arise from what you think

About what you encounter.

Your life arises from the source of all life

And you can experience that wholeness

if you know how to think the thoughts of wholeness.

Thoughts of wholeness are free of judgment.

Good and bad are lost within the wholeness. Can you see how this thought frees you?

It frees you to stand in this moment of now

Fully awake

Fully alive

Fully present

To what is right here, right now

No matter whether the calendar

Is telling you it is Monday morning

Or Sunday night

Or any other day

Or any other time

You are right here, right now.

Are you breathing?

Is breathing on your “to do” list?

Is there plenty of air?

Are you worried there is not enough air to breathe today?

No? You aren’t worried about breathing today?

Take a moment, and appreciate that fact!

Is your heart beating?

Is beating your heart on your “to do” list?

No, right?

If your breath is breathing, and your heart is beating, you have what you need.

Take another moment, and appreciate that fact.

Be grateful.

Right here and right now.

No matter how challenging your circumstances,

Life is a precious gift.

Now, what else is possible? Are you going to try to figure that out?

I have a suggestion.

Try listening.

Ask the question:

“What else is possible for me today?”

Then listen for a while.

Just see what happens

When you let go of figuring everything out.

Let the part of you that knows lead the way.

This can make the difference between just another Monday morning

And the start of an exciting adventure

With the part of you that knows behind the wheel

And your mind in the back seat, where it belongs.

Seeing New Opportunities: An Entrepreneurial Mindset Hack

Cultivate the ability to see opportunity and accelerate your success exponentially

Life in constantly generating new possibilities and opportunities

in every moment.

If you don’t know this,

you are definitely sleeping through your life.

If you are an entrepreneur

who wants to succeed at something,

build a successful business,

you must train yourself to be alive

to the synchronicities arising

through your life experience.

Fear and doubt are the two biggest factors responsible for entrepreneurs missing the opportunities that life is trying to hand them.

It is such a Catch-22 situation.

You may be confronting a problem

or a challenge

or an obstacle.

You may be feeling frustrated

or angry.

But underneath those feelings

fear and doubt are typically

the real reason you are stuck.

Fear and doubt focus your attention on what you don’t want.

Unfortunately, what you give attention to

expands in your awareness.

So at the very time when you are needing

new opportunities

and new possibilities to arise,

you are blinded by an increasing stream

of dead ends and obstacles

and limitations

and barriers.

Can you see how for an entrepreneur mindset is everything?

Mindset is a simple term

for something going on in you

that is rather complex.

The brain is an amazing thing.

But few people take the time

to understand how it works.

(Not that anyone understands completely

how the brain works…but we do know some stuff)

There is a part of the brain

called the reticular activating system. (RAS)

Its job is to filter through the billions

of particles of information

flowing by you in every nanosecond,

pick out what is important for you to know,

and bring it to your attention.

The default programming for the RAS is to flag stuff that threatens your survival.

For this reason, if you don’t program your RAS

it will keep you focused on scary stuff

that you don’t want.

And for sure, if your RAS is busy looking for threats

it will completely ignore opportunities.

Do you see where I am going with this?

If you are an entrepreneur,

and you want to succeed,

and success depends on noticing opportunities,

you will only notice opportunities

if you program your RAS to look for them.

How do you override the default programming of the RAS and teach it to show you opportunities?

You have to get conscious about intentionally focusing

your awareness on what you want,

instead of what you don’t want.

Suppose you are eating dinner at a friend’s house

and the friend asks you, “What do you want for dinner?”

You are likely to start by telling them what you don’t want.

“I don’t want Italian food. I had that for lunch.”

“Not chicken, I’m sick of chicken.”

“How about Chinese food?”

“No, I had that yesterday.”

See what I mean?

We tend to focus on what we don’t want.

Then we are surprised when we get more of that.

Once you learn to focus your awareness

(and through awareness, your RAS)

on what you want,

more of that shows up.

Use your conscious intention to give your RAS a new assignment.

“Look for what I want.”

“Look for possibilities.”

“Look for opportunities.”

And opportunity itself is changing.

“It’s important to change our ideas of what it looks like and where it is. Once we have that update, opportunity pops into view. It becomes abundant. You start to see it everywhere.” — Eben Pagan

Once you have that system working,

lot of opportunities will show up.

Then you need to have the discernment

to figure out which ones to act upon.

Opportunities are the seeds of longterm success.

But not all opportunities are worth pursuing.

And sometimes, something that seemed like a good opportunity

reaches a point of diminishing returns.

So successful entrepreneurs are flexible.

Flexible enough to try something new,

explore new possibilities,

explore new perspectives,

even explore new relationships.

But also flexible enough to notice

when something isn’t working out.

The dynamics of our world have created fertile soil for opportunity.

Technology makes it much easier

to take what you imagine

and bring it into the world of form.

That is good news for entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs tend to be highly creative people.

Opportunity is like candy to successful entrepreneurs.

There are more sources of funding to capitalize opportunities than ever before.

The most important place for entrepreneurs to seek out opportunities is within the very setbacks and obstacles that are keeping them stuck.

This is the ultimate success key.

Instead of allowing barriers and obstacles to destroy your success, use them to fuel your success.

By allowing yourself to redefine obstacles as opportunities you tell your RAS to search within the problem itself to find the solution.

This is the key to becoming unstoppable.

If what appears to be stopping you always provides the means to point you in the direction of greater success nothing can stand in your way for long.

I do this by setting impossible goals.

Achieving impossible goals has become the key to my success.

Reclaiming The Power of Your Wholeness

Why discovering your wholeness is the key to manifesting the life of your dreams.

What if your deepest dreams and desires are the yellow brick road that life has set before you to help you actualize your full potential?

Would that inspire you to take action?

I know you have gone for it

and been disappointed.

I know you have reasons why you are holding your dreams at arm’s length

and maybe taking them out

and thinking about them once in a while

but then putting them back on the shelf

while you handle the business of living.

I get it.

I do that too.

But here’s the thing:

What if those dreams and desires are the yellow brick road you’ve been looking for?

What if all you really need to use that yellow brick road

and move forward toward the life of your dreams

is to tune into your wholeness?

Most of us live life backward.

It’s like trying to drive your car

through the rearview mirror.

Can you imagine how hard

it would be to get anywhere?

Can you imagine how many things

you would crash into along the way?

We look out into the world.

We see something we want that we don’t have.

Our inner self talk sounds something like this:

I want X.

I don’t have X.

I don’t know how to get X.

I can’t have X.

I’m not enough to get X.

I don’t have the right degree,

or certification,

or connections,

or job,

or I’m to short

or too tall

or to fat

or too thin.

I might as well go watch a movie.

Think I’ll microwave me some popcorn too.

No wonder you haven’t tapped into your true potential.

But you can change this.

You need to think better thoughts.

Here’s what a more empowered internal conversation sounds like:

I want X.

I don’t have X.

Hmmm…

I can imagine having X.

Wow, that brings me so much joy

to see myself with X.

I’m seeing the vision clearly now.

It is so bright

and clear

and shiny.

I know I can have X.

I know I’m meant to have X.

I wonder how I might move closer to having X?

What would be the first step?

Hmmm…

Hmmm…

Hmmm…

I feel inspired to go to Y.

I wonder who I might meet there

and what that might have to do with

me getting X?

I’ll do that today.

Hmmm…

Another thought popped into my mind.

Mr/Ms ABC has X.

I wonder how he/she got X?

If Mr/Ms ABC can get X,

I know I can get it too.

I think I’ll ask him/her how he/she did that.

This is an internal conversation born of wholeness.

It is a recognition that we have all that we need

to create the life we want to live already within us.

Dr. Joe Dispenza has been studying the ability to

create from wholeness by measuring brain changes

in his students. This is one thing he says

about the power of wholeness:

I’ve learned that being whole is the perfect state of creation. I’ve seen this time and time again in witnessing true healings in people all over the world. They feel so complete that they no longer want, no longer feel lack, and no longer try to do it themselves. They let go, and to their amazement, something greater than they are responds — and they laugh at the simplicity of the process.”
― Joe DispenzaYou Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter

Is this an exciting thought?

What if this whole adventure called life is meant to be joyous

and is designed to be a simple process.

Would you take time to learn it?

You can learn it.

A lot of what has to happen

is you have to let go of what you think

you know already.

Your current mindset,

your current belief systems,

your current world view

are clearly in your way.

Would you be able to access the courage

to admit there might be something

you didn’t know

that you didn’t know?

Could you admit that what you know is not getting you where you want to be?

Could you entertain the thought

that you are a powerful creator

that is powerfully creating the life you have?

And that when you understand

how to consciously use the power you have,

you are likely to consciously create results

more in line with what you deeply desire?

Here’s something “Dr. Joe,” as he is known to his students,

has to say about this:

“The latest research supports the notion that we have a natural ability to change the brain and body by thought alone, so that it looks biologically like some future event has already happened. Because you can make thought more real than anything else, you can change who you are from brain cell to gene, given the right understanding.”
― Joe DispenzaBreaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One

It’s exciting isn’t it?

Master your thoughts.

Master your world.

Think only LOVE.

Joy Is the Experience of Unconditional LOVE Expressed

Say “yes” to life, and watch your joy expand

Many people confuse pleasure and joy.

Our modern world has given us unparalleled access to pleasure.

Dopamine, the chemical which gives us the experience of pleasure,

is triggered by many things common in the modern world,

but was much less accessible in times past.

The struggle to survive prevented such a focus on pleasure-seeking for most people in times gone by.

But now,

sugar and processed foods,

alcohol,

television and video games,

highly refined drugs,

both legal and illegal,

and many addictive activities that are easily accessed in modern culture,

all provide ways of delivering dopamine hits

which cause us to want more and more pleasure.

And the sad part is that it takes “more and more” dopamine

to provide the same amount of pleasure.

So many of us get ourselves into a vicious cycle of pleasure-seeking

that is often quite destructive to a our wellbeing.

“Pleasure is always derived from something outside you,  whereas joy arises from within.” — Eckhart Tolle

Joy is a state of being that arises from expressing unconditional LOVE.

I define unconditional LOVE as that creative life force that animates all life.

It is not to be confused with infatuation, or codependent attachment.

LOVE has nothing in common with Hallmark sentimentality.

LOVE is a conscious acceptance of what is arising in the present moment.

It embraces the moment so completely and whole-heartedly

that the glimmers of life itself shine through the circumstances.

So pleasure-seeking, especially when it is elevated to the level of preoccupation, actually interferes with the experience of joy.

So many people are laser-focused on accomplishment in the material realm.

But many who have achieved levels of material success

that most of us will never know

have demonstrated to us the folly of those efforts.

I was deeply affected when Whitney Houston was found

drown in a bathtub in a Las Vegas hotel.

What a tragic end to a life

which should have offered her such joy!

Didn’t she have it all?

Talent?

Beauty?

Wealth?

Fame?

Family?

Adoring fans?

What more could a person ask for from life?

Pleasure-seeking destroyed her life.

And she is only one of many.

If you do not cultivate the ability to access joy,

no amount of pleasure will access it for you.

Unconditional LOVE is a mindset that must be cultivated.

It is a skill which must be practiced and honed.

Unconditional LOVE arises from thoughts of Loving Kindness, Loving Wisdom, and Loving Strength

If you find yourself unfulfilled, dissatisfied, and pleasure-seeking,

use those conditions to alert you

to the need to stop and change your mind.

Notice if you are thinking thoughts about yourself, life, or other people

that are unkind.

Notice if you are thinking thoughts about yourself, life, or other people

that foolish or uninformed.

Notice if you are thinking thoughts of helplessness,

hopelessness,

or victimization.

“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but thought about it. Be aware of the thoughts you are thinking. Separate them from the situation, which is always neutral. It is as it is.” ― Eckhart Tolle

Ask yourself, “Are these thoughts giving me access to joy?”

If you find such thoughts, change your mind.

Just because you can.

Resist the temptation to allow circumstances to dictate

what you are thinking.

This discipline is the path to joy.

Joy never results in ill-health, hangovers, debt, shame, loss, or devastated relationships. Pleasure-seeking often does.

What do you want you life to be about?

What do you want to experience?

What you allow yourself to think about

will determine what you experience.

The choice is yours.

Choose wisely.

How To Use Unconditional Love To Make More Money

Are you tired of trying to figure out how to create financial freedom?

Would it be nice to have a bigger savings account because you are making more money than you need?

Would having a stronger financial foundation underpinning your business be desirable?

Would you like being financially free of all debt because you made so much money that your business and/or personal finances ran on a cash basis?

Here’s a fresh take on what you really need:

It is a normal part of the human anatomy to always want more.

Some say this is an expression of our lower nature: the tendency toward greed.

But I disagree.

I believe that this endless desire for “more” is an expression of the expansive nature of consciousness.

Consciousness is always growing and evolving.

The evidence for this is all around you.

If Spring has come to your part of the world, notice the grass.

It grows every day. Even if you cut it, it just keeps growing.

That is what plants do.

All life reflects this tendency to be more, to become more, to express more fully from the abundance of life.

This means that no matter your level of income, it is okay to want more.

In fact, that desire is pointing you toward the path that will lead to the birth of the next level of you.

The amount of money you are earning today is a reflection of your ability to perceive and take action on the unlimited opportunities that are appearing all around you.

If your current level of income is inadequate this can actually be good news.

It means that there is more of you available to play the game of life, and it is up to you to access it.

If you are earning $100,000 per year, and desire to take your business or your career to the next level, the same is true.

There is more of you available, and it is up to you to access it.

What does it take to access the next level of you?

One way to begin to answer this question is to determine what beliefs you hold about money that are filtering out those next level opportunities so that you are unaware of them.

Take out a sheet of paper and write down your current monthly income.

Now look at that number and write down what that number means.

Some people (let’s call them Group A) may hear thoughts like:

· It’s not enough.

· I’m a loser.

· I don’t deserve more.

· I’ll never make more money.

· I’m lazy.

· I don’t work hard enough.

Some people (let’s call the Group B) may hear thoughts like:

Take out a sheet of paper and write down your current monthly income.

Now look at that number and write down what that number means.

Some people (let’s call them Group A) may hear thoughts like:

· It’s not enough.

· I’m a loser.

· I don’t deserve more.

· I’ll never make more money.

· I’m lazy.

· I don’t work hard enough.

Some people (let’s call the Group B) may hear thoughts like:

· That’s good, but I wonder how I can make more.

· Maybe I can get to a networking meeting this week and make some new connections.

· What if I create a new product line?

· I should call ______ and follow up on _______.

· I should stop buying $5 cups of coffee.

It is evident that the first group of thoughts are much less likely to motivate and inspire the thinker to see new opportunities and take new actions.

Why would people who think thoughts like that look for jobs or money-making opportunities?

What would be the point?

In the second group the thoughts are more open, more curious, more engaged with life instead of focusing on one’s limitations.

It makes sense that these kinds of thoughts will lead to more effective action, doesn’t it?

What makes the difference between Group A and Group B?

The answer is mindset.

If you want different results in your life you must change the way you think about your life.

And the fundamental mindset you must create, before all other enhancements, is a mindset of unconditional LOVE.

What does this mean?

The mindset of people who give Group A responses is a mindset which does not reflect unconditional LOVE for yourself.

Beliefs like “I’m not good enough.”

“I can’t do it.”

“What if I fail?”

and all the other Group A beliefs listed above

are a reflection of a mindset based on lack and scarcity,

and an identity that is attached to limitation.

Pure consciousness,

whose nature is unconditional LOVE,

does not know these kinds of lack and limitation.

Consciousness is expansive.

It believes the best about you, and about life.

To change your mindset, you must learn to allow yourself to think in alignment with this expansive conscious energy.

Group B thinkers are already much more in alignment with unconditional LOVE.

Consciousness is free and is not focused in the past.

Accomplishments in the past, or a lack of accomplishments in the past, mean nothing to consciousness.

The past does not determine your future

unless you drag old experiences,

and old perceptions of yourself

into the now moment.

Consciousness is focused here and now.

It is unconditionally LOVing,

always giving,

always pouring itself out into life.

Infinite possibilities are available within this flowing energy.

When you align yourself with this flow,

become a giver,

but also LOVing yourself enough to be open to receiving

the opportunities that are showing themselves around you,

your experience of scarcity will diminish and ultimately disappear.

Financial freedom will arise in that place.

Chances are you were not raised

with a belief in the abundance of possibility in life.

You were probably not raised to trust life,

to innovate, to try new things,

to believe in yourself.

Few people are.

How To Use DIRT To Live a Cleaner Life

“God doesn’t send depression or adversity, but He uses it.”

— Pastor Steven Furtick, Elevation Church

Are you ever disappointed?

Do you feel anxious or worried about the future?

Have you ever felt the pain of being rejected by someone special?

If so, this article may have some insight that would be valuable for you.

This article is inspired by a great sermon I heard this morning

By Pastor Steven Furtick at Elevation Church.

There is a serious misconception about life that plagues many people

and keeps them living with a sense of futility and frustration.

This misconception is that if you have DIRT in your life

then something is wrong.

Let me define DIRT so that we are on the same page:

D= Disappointment

I= Insecurity

R= Rejection

T= Trouble

In my opinion, the presence of DIRT in your life is just a sign that you are human.

Sure, we can do our best to take charge of the way we are perceiving life

So that we can minimize the negative impact of DIRT on our mindset

And sense of wellbeing.

But one of the best ways to do that

Is to decide that DIRT is part of the experience of life,

And embrace it.

Embracing the DIRT transforms it.

Take disappointment, for example.

I thought I had an agreement with a friend

But my expectations were not met,

And I was disappointed.

I spent a little time blaming my friend,

And silently ranting to myself about my frustration.

But soon I realized that my friend perceived the agreement

Differently than I did.

I could see that the agreement which I thought was so clear

Was not clear to this person.

It was a great opportunity to up my communication game.

I came away from that interaction feeling empowered.

But that only occurred because rather than hanging out in disappointment

I chose to care more about the relationship with my friend

Than being right about the agreement.

Being a writer,

And publishing my work in the public eye

Gives me a lot of opportunities to profit from feelings of insecurity.

Not everyone loves my work,

And as much as I think I would like everyone to love my work, this isn’t realistic.

The more I allow myself to value my own work,

The less I need that approval from other people.

Taking this stand for my own work

Gives me strength and the courage to speak authentically.

Rejection is more of a challenge for me,

As I think it is for most people.

Rejection isn’t so bad when it comes from a stranger

Or a person who I don’t highly value.

But it is hard to take from someone I care about.

There is huge benefit from being willing to feel the pain of rejection.

When I am willing to be with myself,

To feel the pain and bear it.

I can remind myself that I am loved and lovable,

Even though not by the person who has rejected me.

I again find myself gathering power and strength within.

Trouble and problems are universal human experiences.

Often, though, trouble comes bearing a secret gift.

The question is, can you find the gift inside the trouble?

Mostly I find it is a question of perception.

I liken this to a sporting event.

Let’s take a football game as an example.

American football, or soccer, either will do.

The athletes on the field are experiencing a lot of trouble,

A lot of problems.

They are experiencing direct opposition.

Often, they are experiencing physical pain and injury.

They are deep inside the action,

Very close to the ball

And to the other players.

They are perceiving the game from a very personal perspective.

The head coaches are on the sidelines.

They are still very close to the game,

But they aren’t playing.

They have a little objectivity.

They have a wider perspective.

They can see both sides better than the players.

Their perspective, once shared with the players,

Help the players play better.

The fans are farther removed.

They sit in the stands and they have

An even wider perspective.

They can see the game from above,

And though usually still very engaged

With the game,

The outcome probably has less effect on them

Than on the players and coaches.

Then there are the coaches up in the sky boxes.

Their perspective is much wider.

They may be noticing what is happening on the sidelines

Of the other team,

As well as watching the game from above.

Then there are the guys in the blimp

Who are filming the game from high above the stadium.

When we are allowed to see the game from the blimp perspective the details down below are not so clear. But the context of the game is available.

So when you experience trouble, or problems

See if you can look at the situation

From all these different perspectives.

Instead of reacting in a knee jerk fashion,

Take the time to shift your perspective

Farther and farther up.

See if you can shift all the way up into the blimp.

See the problem in the wider context of your life. How can you benefit from this situation?

How can you become wiser?

Stronger?

More powerful?

How can you use these circumstances to grow,

And to evolve into a new version of yourself?

Used this way, DIRT becomes a trigger for helping you to achieve your dreams and actualize your goals.

Rather than using DIRT as a reason to feel

Not good enough

Or to reinforce a limiting belief that

Something is wrong with you,

DIRT can become a source of empowerment

And freedom.

Embrace the DIRT and teach yourself to become unstoppable.

A common problem most people have is how to increase the amount of money they have access to in life. Wealthy people tend to realize that it is our own money mindset that sets the limits of the amount of money we allow to come into our lives. I have created a free 5 day email workshop to help you to diagnose the mindset blocks that are limiting your perspective on allowing more money into your life. Click here to check it out.

How to Stay Motivated On Monday Mornings

Are you feeling the Monday morning blues?

Do you lack motivation move forward toward your goals?

Read on to shift that vibration…

The feelings you have about Sunday nights

and Monday morning are the result of thoughts you have.

As much as it may seem that the circumstances

which are so unsatisfying

are what is causing you unhappiness,

The empowering truth is that your feelings are result of your thoughts.

Why is this empowering?

Because you can change your thoughts in any moment.

As much as circumstances can dictate what you encounter

What you experience will arise from what you think

About what you encounter.

Your life arises from the source of all life

And you can experience that wholeness

If you know how to think the thoughts of wholeness

Thoughts of wholeness are free of judgment

Good and bad are lost within the wholeness. Can you see how this thought frees you?

It frees you to stand in this moment of now

Fully awake

Fully alive

Fully present

To what is right here, right now

No matter whether the calendar

Is telling you it is Monday morning

Or Sunday night

Or any other day

r any other time
